The Nobina single ticket FAQ

To be able to buy and use the Nobina single ticket you need to meet the following technical requirements:

• You have a valid payment card (debet/credit).
• You have a mobile device that can receive sms, send and receive data traffic, has a web browser, and has a screen able to show a scannable so called QR code.

The basic principle is you should have a valid activated ticket when boarding the bus.

Ticket controls may occur at any time before, during, or after the journey. In a control, as a traveler you should be able to show a valid activated ticket. The way the control is carried out may vary. Here are some examples:

• When boarding the bus
• When disembarking the bus
• Anywhere and anytime during the journey
• When enterering or leaving Nobina's ticket zones, but also within these zones

You may never board a bus or enter a ticket zone if you lack the ability to buy a bus ticket according to the general terms and conditions.

If you do not hold a valid ticket for the current bus trip and/or lack the ability or will to buy one on request from a Nobina representative, you may be dismissed.

The Nobina single ticket can be used for a trip with Nobina's buses according to the ticket's terms and conditions. The single ticket is not valid for public transport, and public transport tickets cannot be used for trips with Nobina's commercial buses.

No. The single ticket gives you the right to make a single journey with a commercial Nobina bus according to the ticket's terms and conditions. It does not grant you a seat reservation.

Some departures are more popular, and the bus may occasionally be too crowded.

When buying our single ticket, we guarantee that you will reach your desired destination. It may however be a bit later than you first expected, so please make sure you have some extra time not to miss a connecting journey or a specific event at your destination.

The price of the single ticket depends on which ticket you buy. You will see the price clearly when selecting the ticket and before paying for it, and also the total amount if you buy several tickets in the same order.

All prices are in SEK and including VAT and taxes.

When purchasing the Nobina single ticket you will clearly see

• for how long the ticket is valid without being activated.
• for how long the ticket will be valid after activation.

Non-activated ticket

As a standard, the single ticket will be valid and possible to activate for 90 days from purchase date and time.

This may however vary depending on which ticket you buy. Some tickets may have a fixed end-of-life time shorter than 90 days, whereas other tickets may be possible to activate later than 90 days after purchase.

Activated ticket

When activating your ticket, a countdown clock will appear showing you the remaining time. When the time is up, another screen will appear indicating that the ticket is not valid anymore.

You may board a bus or enter a Nobina ticket zone as long as there is time left for your activated ticket.

During a bus trip many external things out of Nobina's control may occur. In case the journey exceeds the estimated traveling time, you will easily be able to access ticket history information to show to the Nobina representative in a possible ticket control.

If you wish to buy and use the single ticket you need internet connection on your mobile device, amongst others. At some points with many simultaneous travelers, such as big events, it may be difficult to get network access on your mobile.

Buy your ticket well in advance, when appropriate. You will not activate the ticket until it is time to travel, anyway.

If it still absolutely just not works, then do not get stressed. Turn to a Nobina respresentative to find out the best option for you in the current situation. Nobina will always be prepared for possible problems that may occur where we operate bus traffic.

To be able to buy and use the single ticket you need a mobile phone that works and meets all other requirements found under "Which are the technical requirements for buying the Nobina ticket?"

Thus, you need power left when traveling with our buses (for the whole trip). Tip! Bring a powerbank, or charge your mobile anywhere nearby.

IF you run out of power you should remain calm and easy. The easiest way out may be to ask a friend to buy you a ticket, or you can turn to a Nobina representative to find out a good solution.

Please note! Never make your own decision to board a bus or enter a Nobina ticket zone with a discharged mobile as you thereby lack a valid activated ticket. Always talk to a Nobina representative before. If you do not hold a valid activated ticked in a control, and also lack the ability to buy one you will be dismissed.

Nobina takes any measures possible to plan for the so called "peak", i.e. the times when most people travel. Not often, but sometimes even that is not enough, and you may experience the situation of missing the departure you expected to join.

Unfortunately and according to the Nobina single ticket's terms and conditions, this is something you need to take into consideration. If there is a certain connection or a specific event you should catch at the destination, please take some extra time for possible disruptions – e.g. by taking an earlier departure.

If you miss a full up departure, always contact a Nobina representative or send an e-mail to customer@nobina.se to find out how to solve your current situation. In some specific situations you may be entitled to receive back the full amount you paid for your ticket.

You may never solve transportation totally on your own and then claim financial compensation therefore from Nobina.

The busdriver does never have the mandat to approve an alternate transport that you will then claim financial compensation from Nobina for.

You can buy more than one ticket at the time using the green arrows. For example, if you are 3 persons traveling together you select 3 tickets in the same purchase. Technically you buy 3 single journey tickets, but that works perfectly fine.

Note! Please always travel together should you have purchased the tickets in the same order. So that you do not end up in problems even if you have tickets. If a Nobina representative should ask you to split up, e.g. by boarding different buses, please let him or her know you travel together with tickets in the same mobile.

Group tickets in a ticket control

Before boarding a bus or entering a Nobina ticket zone, please make sure to gather all travelers since you as holder of the tickets are the one responsible for everyone to be able to show a valid activated ticket. Activate a ticket for each traveler and show them one by one to the Nobina representative. You find the tickets by swiping on your mobile's screen.

In a flying control the same as above applies, with the slight difference you should be able to show valid and already activated tickets for each traveler in no time.

My pages in general

My pages are activated automatically the first time you make a Nobina single ticket purchase. That is where all your tickets are stored, both used and unused tickets. You can see all your purchase history as well as receipts for each purchase in My pages.

Log in

You log in to My pages using your mobile phone number. Submit your mobile phone number and click "Receive sms". You will receive back an sms including a one-time digit code that you use as verification.

Find your tickets

My pages is the place to find all tickets you have purchased:

• Completely unused tickets to be used for a coming trip.
• Used or unvalid tickets.

Regret a ticket purchase

If your ticket purchase meets the regret purchase requirements, you regret your purchase on My pages.

You may regret a Nobina single ticket purchase before the ticket's expiration time if you meet all these requirements:

• The ticket grants the option to be regretted. This information is easily found when buying the ticket.
• The ticket is not used, i.e. it has never been activated.
• The expiration time has not run out.

If you purchase the single ticket in advance (e.g. not just before you board a bus or enter a ticket zone), please always be aware of the terms and conditions for the ticket at hand before you buy it.

No. At the moment the Nobina single ticket is valid only for Nobina's commercial buses where the single ticket is accepted as bus ticket.

You may not use the Nobina single ticket for public transport trips with travel companies such as SL, Västtrafik, Blekingetrafiken, or other travel companies likewise.

No. The Nobina single ticket may not be transferred, and can be used only on the mobile device where it was purchased. The same applies for regretting a purchase.*

*You may regret a ticket purchase if it is possible to regret and if it meets all other requirements for the purchase to be regretted.

The easiest is always to try to talk to a Nobina representative onsite.

• your mobile phone number
• the order number for the ticket/s you have remarks about
